It's no secret that children love music. How many times has your child tapped out a rhythm on a pan in the kitchen? It’s also no secret that music is good for a child’s development. Music is a natural way to teach language and social skills.

The Whole Note Music Academy offers music classes for children in the Denver Metro Area. Children have fun singing, dancing, moving creatively, playing instruments and listening to music from different cultures and styles. Parents, who participate in the classes for very young children, enjoy the mix of music that they hear and also enjoy making friends with other parents.

A variety of classes are offered for children between the ages of 6 months and 7 years old. Children and parents have fun learning musical concepts, experiencing a wide variety of music, and learning methods that help encourage language and social development.

Children with special needs are very welcome and are encouraged to participate. Some sign language is incorporated in the classes. The classes emphasize the link between music and language to help all children with language development.
